What can I say other than that this picture has so many possibilities. It could be anything from a great shot for a portfolio to showcase the model or photographer's versatility to an emotive commission, to part of a unified ad campaign. A photo that is not bogged down by an over-reaching attempt to say one thing; instead it just is. They say there is nothing new under the sun but this picture makes me wonder about that; I feel that this piece is like nothing that has ever been done before and that's how great art should feel.

Intelligent use of the forest canopy to break up the direct sunlight and halo the area around the model. That and the sunlight playing through her dress contrasting with the soft lighting on her body combine to make the viewer's eyes want to go no where else but to her. The accents of the boots add a bit more interest to the photo and their texture along with those of the dress, the model's soft skin and the surrounding natural woodland all play well together. Excellent job of getting her to produce just the right pose and expression for the shot.

The only thing I think could be added is maybe some soft lighting with a complementing gel on the lower right and right middle of the photo. It feels a little "cold" in comparison to everything else in the shot, though I'd have to actually see some lighting there to say that it truly would add value, no? Just my musing.

Très bon.
